The infamous cracky bike

We've become real mature while we've been here. Ha ha ha. A diner for dogs? Snoop Doggs!

Those of us who didn't get cheap cracky bikes, hired some for the day to ride around Stanley park. A huge park downtown with a 10KM perimiter. When you're in the middle of it, it's hard to imagine you're even in the city.

I took most of these pics while I was riding, so don't expect anything amazing.

The boys reading about totems. Educational!

Looking out to North Van

Lions Gate Bridge. It has 2 lanes heading North and 1 lane heading South. Every 15 minutes it changes direction (2 lanes South and 1 North), makes for some good traffic jams.

My essential riding equipment. It looks sunny out, but it's damn cold.

Another awesome car

There was a huge storm in Van a while back, much of the park looked like this

Lumberjacks in training

Yass does his best snow white impression

Finally spotted some squirrels

Stopped by the aquarium (you can peek in through the glass from the outside). It's Easter and any old cracky can dress up like a cow rabbit and make balloons for the kiddies.

"Hello! I'm a freak creature that belongs in a manga cartoon AIIEEEE!"

The belugas put on a show.

We love Boneta. The best food!! Mex with his 'fingerlings' Good eatin'.

Boneta also has the best staff ever. Sopho in action

The view from outside our place. The mountains are incredible.

These road signs on the ground really do save me from being run over.

Umm I'm not quite sure what was going on here, I stayed at home last night while Mex went on a funky adventure with the boys.

Blogger isn't very holiday friendly. It's a bit greedy with time and likes to have a lot of attention. I have found a way to trick it into behaving and although it involves disconnecting and reconnecting, I'm going to push though. I think the girls at the cafe here are trying to drive me out by playing Madonna over and over, but I'm staying put until it's done...

These flicks start from Big White - last night riding session with Sopho and Anna

Decided to take the short cut aka 'the hard way' trudging home through snow past our knees

We found this sexy book in our condo

Yay! Let's all donate to a cause that supports kids not getting drunk at their graduation. You get these chocolates from the liquor store.

Last Monday we rolled into Vancouver and a sweet hotel.

King size bed!

Can't remember what this department store is called...all high end stuff but they use graff to get the kids in. I bet they'd kick us out if they found us in there though.

Toffee/chocolate/smarty apples anyone?

I couldn't refuse the turkey after I saw that Ice Cube said "I ate turkey. I LOVE turkey." Mmm turkey smokey with miso sauce and wasabi mayo. The goods.

The Reeboks

Biggest green tea ever.

Where security begins. Mex just bought a "Hello graffiti" tee but it got stolen out of our friends car. Boo.

Heading in to cracktown, we found this tempting

Although this is probably cracky graff, it is probably true.

Cracktown styles

Not too happy about the 2010 winter olympics

Soph D and I need to move to this city

Most Vancouverites live downtown.
