Umm I'm not quite sure what was going on here, I stayed at home last night while Mex went on a funky adventure with the boys.

Blogger isn't very holiday friendly. It's a bit greedy with time and likes to have a lot of attention. I have found a way to trick it into behaving and although it involves disconnecting and reconnecting, I'm going to push though. I think the girls at the cafe here are trying to drive me out by playing Madonna over and over, but I'm staying put until it's done...

Hospitality Brand style, the coolest and biggest ice cubes (sorry, ice spheres) in the world. Brand and Nicole have an amazing apartment and super cool rowing machine. It's wireless so you can race the guy down the hall.

I was busting to head to the markets where I once picked up an amazing salmon roll (like a sausage roll but a million times better). I found them but this time it was microwaved. Hot on one end, cold on the other. 

Seagulls here are gigantic

We couldn't be bothered trekking over the Granville bridge, so we took the 10 second boat ride. It was worth the 5 bucks

Sorry for the lack of updates, we're back in Vancity now and finding free internet hasn't been high on the list...now we're sitting in a cafe with freebie wireless, I'm having dramas uploading photos so maybe that will happen tomorrow, or this arvo if you're lucky. Don't really have time to check over the grammar either, so sorry for any typo's too.

Big White put on a gorgeous last day for us, blue skies fresh snow and fun times. But by the time Monday rolled around, I was more than ready to leave. Chenny kindly drove us back to Van and we stayed in a super hotel for the night. So good after cramped condo. The boys went out for St Pats day and we're back kinda early (everything shuts at 1am, so you need to be drunk by 10 to have a full night out).

We are now super, super lucky to be house sitting at Josh's dads place again, close to downtown so we've been shopping for the last couple of days, meeting the local crackies. One of which Mex bought a bike from last night. He paid $20 and the asking price was only $15 - generous, since it was a part of the crackie's house and it collapsed as he grabbed it to ride away. Pics later. My latest purchase were red Kool Aid Reeboks, loud AND scratch and sniff.

Van is pretty cold. 7 degrees on Tuesday but the sun was out so that means you can wear a tshirt and Parisian princesses can laugh at me when they see my thermals as I sit down. Generally the people here are pretty friendly, the chick sitting across from us just asked me to mind her laptop for a minute... lucky for her it was still here when she got back.
